About the CISC Designation
The CISC Designation is the foremost designation for the specialist in construction insurance.  This designation distinguishes the CISC designee as a professional in the complex construction industry.  Be amongst the best.

How to Obtain the CISC Designation
Participants must attend the courses and successfully complete the exam for each of the three CISC parts.  The parts may be taken in any order and the exam is administered at the end of the second day.  Participants have five (5) years to take and pass all three parts to earn the CISC Designation.

Exam Information
• Exams for all three parts consist of fifty (50) standardized multiple choice questions.
• Forms book provided at the conference may be used during the exam.
• CD-Rom Course Materials are available for each CISC part for a fee of $15.00.
• CISC Pre-Tests are available online for a fee of $35.00 at www.InsuranceExaminator.com.
• Re-take exams are available for any CISC part on the first day of any scheduled conference or  other arrangements can be made upon approval by ISC.

How to Maintain your CISC Designation
CISC Designees have two requirements to meet once they earn the designation:

  • Annually, CISC Designees should complete any CE seminar offered by ISC (in CA) or their Big I State Association. Designees can also attend the West Coast Casualties Construction Defect Seminar
  • Every three (3) years from the date the designation is received, CISC Designees must attend any Contractors & Builders Conference conducted by ISC.
