Marjorie began her insurance career with an insurance broker in Northern California as a commercial lines manager and producer. Ms. Segale formed her own insurance agency a few years later, handling all lines of insurance.
During this time, she was active in her local association as the Young Agents Committee Chairperson for San Joaquin County; Legislative Chairperson for San Joaquin County and as a member of various committees. Marjorie began her teaching career for the Education Committee of the Stockton Insurance Exchange. Ms. Segale has held her Certified Insurance Counselor designation since 1980 and attained her RPLU designation in 2000 and has acquired other designations in the past several years.
After the sale of her agency, Marjorie joined the teaching staff of Insurance Skills Center, Inc., located in Huntington Beach, California. Marjorie is Vice-President for ISC and teaches all commercial and personal lines subjects with an emphasis on Contractor’s and Agribusiness risks and insurance solutions and Risk Management.
Segale is one of the designers of the Certified Construction Insurance Specialist designation program.
Segale is currently teaching for the many clients of Insurance Skills Center, Inc. throughout the country, classes for IBA West and is a National Faculty member for the National Alliance Society of Certified Insurance Counselor program.
Marjorie also provides expert witness and consulting services for a variety of insurance issues.
